The real test is when bad things happen - what does the business do to make it right? Highline navigated the waters well here and as a result we would absolutely go out of our way to return here.
I see quite a few bad reviews of this place and I do not really understand based on our experiences. We actually DID have issues with the truck we bought but the owner Peter absolutely took care of us and made things right. It was a 17 year old truck things can happen - but before we left the lot the power locks on two doors stopped working. Highline fixed it without hesitation. When we returned 200+ miles to Virginia the truck actually failed inspection which was confusing since it just passed PA inspection. It was just too far to drive back but Peter worked with us and had my local trusted shop do the repairs. I mentioned to Peter that I had to change the cabin filters as well and he offered to send me a check for that too. I have never had a USED car dealer provide service like this. Through all of the ups and downs of the process Peter was professional and genuinely seemed like he cared about us being happy and about how his business would be perceived. Despite having issues with the truck I would absolutely drive 200 miles back here if I was in the market for another used vehicle. It has been just over 30 days since everything was repaired and the truck has been great. James was also extremely friendly, helpful, and diligent in returning our calls as we were coordinating everything.
Please don't go there.we drove 82 miles to see a ford trac that looked good in the pictures and writ up.they knew I was coming. When we got there the tack truck was not even detail. Plus they had to jump start it...no apologies. What a waste. I was ready to buy it's like they didn't want my business .what a wasted day...I am retired and this place is the worst I ever went for a car...the end. ....
I drove over an hour to see a car. They knew I was coming. Someone showed us the car. It would not start, the A/C made the most horrific sound and sounded like it was coming through the dash, the rotar light was on and the radio did not work. Not to mention the sales person I was dealing with never came out to say hi and was on the phone the whole time and never even called after we left to follow up!!
Please don't waste your Saturday (or any day) at this dealership. I read past reviews, so I was skeptical about going to this dealership. Well, I should have listened to what everyone else had to say. There is no direction or guidance at this place. You'll wait around forever to speak to someone and then quickly get passed off to someone else who seems to disappear for an hour or more. Also, the owner will insult you and your vehicle that you're trading in. As I was told, my 2007 Audi S4 is a ticking time bomb ("tick, tick tick"). Please do not waste your time with this place. Their cars are not that unique. Also, the owner does not deserve the business from hard working, honest people.
This is the worst dealership we have ever dealt with. They never return your phone calls. Absolutely NO customer service whatsoever!!! Went to buy a truck, bought it then they call me that night to tell me it needs a new engine. Why would you not inspect your vehicles before you put them on the lot. Ended up buying a different vehicle ans 2 weeks later the battery died. We will never come back here again!!!
