The furniture was delivered today. Randy (our sales consultant at Lauter's) was very knowledgeable, answered numerous questions, gave us a very good price beating by about 50% the local Safavieh furniture store in Livingston, NJ. The communication with him was flawless, can't be even compared with the sales person at Safavieh who was absolutely clueless. Lauter's delivered our furniture on time. Two men that came with delivery were well prepared, most of the bedroom set was pre-assembled in the warehouse and wrapped in the blanket.
Great furniture store with reasonable prices. Talk to the folks if you don't see what you want. They can often get deals direct from furniture companies that are not advertised. Saved a ton of money getting a name brand set of sofas from them rather than from a show room. Huge store, give yourself plenty of time.

It was a year or so ago that we went to Lauter's to look at a Hooker entertainment center that was a floor sample. There was no pressure and the gentleman that helped us couldn't have been nicer. Also, the delivery guys were very nice. I'm now looking into another Hooker piece and am waiting for a quote from Lauters. Even though we live over an hour away, we will definitely be back. The furniture is top quality and very reasonably priced.
I contacted them via the internet to buy Stanley Young America furniture. Jeff was great, sent me pictures and pricing via email since we lived so far away. The brand was going out of business and we were trying to get things in a hurry before it was all gone. We drove almost 2 hours to the store and almost missed them because they were closing. Randy was kind enough to stay after hours, show us the furniture and take care of the paperwork. I got a wonderful follow up email from Jeff stating they will make sure the furniture is perfect for our new baby. So very happy with the customer service!!!! I wish all companies were like this!
