Basic state inspection today. They where straight forward and honest. My one time was bent which I asked them to check. Our roads are horrible!
People here seem to act in a professional manner and they seem to know what they are doing, but their service calls and suggestions are not realistic. They told me my car needed excessive repairs but another mechanic I went for a second opinion did not concur. Caveat emptor.
My 19 year old daughter went there for a price on tires(well over priced). Told her brake fluid was dirty wanted $80.00 to change it. Turns out it was just low and needed to be topped off. Furthermore told her she needed a tie rod, 270.00(well over priced). We brought to another reputable mechanic to put on a new tie rod for $165.00 however the tie rods on the car where fine. BEWARE OF THIS RIPOFF COMPANY! I will tell everyone I know of my experience of how the tried to take advantage of a 19 years old girl.
Can never go and get my car fixed without another problem magically turning up. Twice I've left that place and two new problems that I've never noticed before become blatantly apparent. Anyone know of a better place to take my car in the Easton Area please give me a call.
Rip off. If you are not their regular customer don't go there. I was in the neighborhood by an occasion when realized that the inspection stickers on my 2008 Toyota RAV-4 have expired, so I Googled the nearby inspection stations. This was the closest please, I called in, was told that they can take me right away and within 5 minutes I was there. Two hours later I was told that my car can't pass the inspection because of the right inner tie rod end has some play in it and it has to be replaced in order to pass. Ok, fine, how much is it? -- $432!!!??? -- You are joking, right? -- No, sir, that is the price of parts and labor. -- Forget about it, let me pay for fail the inspection, let me go. The end of the story: went home, dropped the car off by my regular mechanic, got the tie rod replaced for $75 parts and labor. It's not even funny.
