It's always been difficult getting any kind of assistance there. Not exactly helpful, willing your situation(s). Mr. Sauders was the ABSOLUTE BEST & CARING advocate working there! He is a godsend & they should model job training from him.
Never answer the phones I call and call to report changes and can't get ahold of anyone! T he caseworker keeps messing the income up ans now im getting screwed over with everything !
I find that the Northampton County Assistance Office pays a lot of attention to me and my case. I don't know what I would do without them. A+

I give them a big fat zero stars! When I first applied I was approved fairly quickly, however once I got a job I called to notify my case worker which I could never get in touch with. They sent me a letter stating they needed proof of income by XX date or they would turn off my benefits, however the letter was dated 02/07 and said I had ten days but I didn't get the letter until 02/27 so I called to complain and was told oh yea we have been getting complaints. Gee if you have been getting complaints wouldn't it be wise to mail the letters out prior or at least give you enough time to respond. I called to make sure they received proof of income which the customer service center stated yes we received it 03/03 but proceeded to tell me my benefits were still off and wasn't sure why they never turned them back on. It almost pays to NOT work I mean you do right thing by getting a job and the insurance at my job is so high I can't afford it!
