My family has been going to Al's for years and this is the first time I've ever been thoroughly disappointed with them. 2 days ago I sent my pants in to be cleaned and they were tagged incorrectly. I was told they would be done next day, but I return 2 days later and they weren't even cleaned. They had been "thrown in a bin to be cleaned."
I dropped off a rug at Al's in November 2012 so I could have a nice clean rug before my Christmas guests arrived. After a couple of weeks I called to see when it would be done. I was told it would take some time to dry since it hangs to dry. A few weeks later I called again. This time I was told that the only person who cleans rugs had broken their leg. I'm understanding, it's only a rug, I could wait. Little did I know that I would have to wait EIGHT MONTHS!!! I called regularly enquiring about my rug to be told, no it wasn't in they would call. I finally got the call 3 days ago. When I went to pick up my rug I asked for a discount for the inconvenience of the rug being in their possesion for 8 months. The man who was working informed me I would have to ask his father if I wanted a discount and he would be in at 5 ( this was at about 1:30) Apparently customer service and satisfaction is not a priority. If they don't care about customers perhaps they don't deserve any.
From cleaning services to having items taken in, they always do an excellent job
Family owned business. In house production.
They've lost a customer. I will never go there ever again.
