i had day surgery on the 12 of dec all the staff and nurses were wonderful ! but nurse colleen was amazing to myself and family! thank you so much!
The staff on the third floor was again attentive as it was close to 6:00p.m. They made sure to get me in their computer so I could quickly order dinner. The room was spotless, and again had this hotel feel. This really makes recovery helpful when your surroundings are so nice. All the nursing staff has been wonderful, and caring.
Today Dec 7th I went into the ER with my Very sick brother. We sat there pacitenly for 3 1/2 hours. I decided to walk up to the window in a non thteting manner. That was OPEN !! Did not have a closed next window sign. The man at the window at approximately 4:30pm to 5:00pm right after shift change. I walked up to the window to simply ask a question & the guy at the window all most smashed my hand in the window ! I said what are u doing ?? I just want to ask a ? & he continued to SLAM !! The window almost taking a finger with it. I don't know his name ? But this guy should be held accountable. I know exactly what he looks like. Dark hair BALD HEAD ON top, Glasses, black glasses I beleave ? This guy does not belong working in a ER or around people in general ! Once I find out his name I will take the proper steps to report him ASAP. No employe that works at that hospital should never treat anybody the way I was treated at Anderson Hospital today Dec 7th mid day. Ther has to be camera's all over that hospital it has to be on tape. Not once did that guy say wait 1 min or excuse me I'll be with u in a min. NO He said nothing & continued to slam my hand in the window !!!!
I come to St. Luke's Anderson for outpatient testing and specialty Drs. This was the 2nd time I had been to their ER department. The first time was during a flu outbreak and was chaotic. This time I was sent there by my family Dr. for emergency medical treatment. The entire emergency room staff worked quickly and efficiently to get me registered and to a room to be seen. The staff was amazing. Attentive and knowledgeable. The hospital was clean inside and out, it was more like a hotel. Once I was admitted it took no time to get me up to my room.
In the future I wouldn't hesitate to return. Because I know I'll have a pleasant experience from admittance to discharge.
I absolutely love St. Luke's & my Dr. at palliative care in the Cancer Center! She's so caring, she listens to what you have to say & actually remembers my family's name's what's going on just amazing! You can tell she got into this field because she truly does care about her patients! Also the ER is great as well as the main hospital it's self! Only had 1 bad experience in the ER & they ended up having another Dr come in and I was admitted but the first Dr was very rude! Other than that 100% the best hospital around!!!
I've been having chronic ear infections for the past year. I have only been able to treat it with over the counter medication due to not having insurance. I finally got insurance and was able to go and hopefully get some answers to why I keep losing my hearing. I was told I was going to get my ear flushed and I waited an hour and a half until a doctor came in, examined my ear without putting a sleeve or sanitizing the utensil he was using and shoved it in my ear. My ear started swelling and he told me to just use an over the counter medication. Not to mention there was a giant stain on the bed. I feel so disgusted knowing there was unsanitized equipment was used on my ear.
