If I could give her 0 stars, I would. For the first 5 years she was convinced my only diagnosis was arthritis; last year she diagnosed me with Fibro and acts like my pain started then, even though I've been in daily pain since I was 14. In the last four years that I've been under her care, my condition has not improved, it has degenerated. I have been told everything from "It's in your head" to "You're too young for this". All she has done is bleed me dry of my money and waste my time. If you are young like I am, she'll think you're lying, so don't bother.
I've been seeing Dr. Zelanznicka for the past 5 years. I originally started seeing her due to references I received from friends and relatives. From the first time I saw her she asked me if I was involved in an auto accident... she was straight on. Since that time she hasn't been anything but professional, caring and empathetic. When I mentioned to her that one of the family docs and a pain management doc recommended that I see a rheumatologist for my ongoing pain ever since I had that accident, she asked if the whip lash was documented. She didn't diagnose me with anything specific at that time until she ran tests and did trial runs on different medications and then paired them with their counter parts. After time, she finally deemed my suffering first from the whip lash, and secondly from chronic fibromyalgia and Arthritus in different places;especially in my twisted fingers & hand( at that time). Her medical tests and my cancer screenings proved the diagnosis before settling the diagnosis as a case. She appeared to be pleasant & sincere with my overall wellbeing. She collaborates with my pain management doctor, and reviews my medical file from my other doctors and when I was hospitalized twice. She tells things like it is ... no sugar coating but when you get to know her you understand just how sincere and professional she is. I would definitely recommend Dr. Zelanznicka and have no plans for the future to change doctors.
