Me and my mom visit the pet store almost 3 times a week and we like the employees and don’t see where these irrational thoughts come from, from some of the people who have stepped foot into the store. I bet not 1 of these people complaining has EVER seen ANY employee ever rough handle or hurt any of the animals that they have at their store. The employees work there because they love animals and that is their passion and most likely want to pursue something in the animal field. It’s crazy that people seem to think that the pet stores abuse & drug their animals. For the people who say that the store drugs their dogs, go into the store early hours right when the place opens and see how active 90% of the dogs are. I’ve also been in there multiple times where they have had the puppies running around the store. Puppies are just like new born babies. They sleep a majority of the day because they’re only 3-5 months old... Imagine you having a 3 month old baby.. don’t they sleep about 18 hours a day.. think about that..half of these people I’m sure only spend a majority of 10 minutes in the store, so how are you going to say all of the dogs are lethargic and look sick when there’s a thing called sleep! Also just like babies, puppies have weak and little immune systems. So if one puppy gets sick, it’s very easy for more to catch it. You people need to do more researching about animals before you just say anything. Just because you people don’t like pet stores, doesn’t mean you have to give it a bad rep! Don’t walk into somewhere where you have a problem with. How about keeping all of the negative comments and thoughts to your selves and do something more productive with your day then complain!

The store was well stocked with a variety of puppies, mainly small breeds. The were placed in large pens on the floor. Customers walk through the store touching the animals without supervision as the staff congregate at the front of the store.

Do NOT shop here. They support Puppy Mills and sell sick puppy mill dogs. Adopt a dog from a local shelter or rescue. Do not give this greedy unethical store your money. They even had to remove the "Reviews" section from their Facebook page so people couldn't see how bad they really are.

Do NOT buy a dog from here. Our puppy had skin dermatitis and an infection. There are cared for terribly. Also their dogs are from puppy mills and are way over priced. Adopt a rescue dog from a shelter instead!

Working with customers requires a professional and friendly demeanor in order for transactions to happen.

Went to this store today to buy a puppy.

Some of the puppies seemed lethargic and even ill. I know this because I purchased a puppy 3 years ago who was very ill at the time of purchase.

The associate was helpful and friendly. However, the person who said they were manager was not at all professional in her manner. When I asked questions about purchasing a puppy she responded abruptly and insisted that in order to purchase a pup, I had to buy a bag of food. I wanted to purchase the puppy but the attitude of the manager of the store was so confrontational that I felt insulted and decided to leave. My family and I wanted to buy the dog and would have liked to have the helpful associate earn a nice commission.

I have bought 3 dogs from this place. The first dog had kennel cough after the staff told me that she was fine and that the was a pure bred. The second dog had 2 different types of worms and terrible kennel cough, they wouldn't even pay for the stool sample to find out about the worms. Then I bought another dog on November 25th. I was assured by many workers that she was healthy and playful and had a good temperature. Well, the worker just gave a made up number for the temperature, I took the dog home and the dog wouldn't move, drink, eat, or even lift it's head off the floor. I was so concerned about this I took it to the vet on Monday and it turns out that my dog has pneumonia so bad that her lungs are completely filled with fluid. The vet was surprised that she was even still breathing. My dog is now sitting in the clinic for 1 week because she is so deathly sick. I honestly can't believe this place is open. A woman and her family just told me today that they had to put their down dog because the day after buying it they found out that that it had a hernia. She also believed that the pet shop is so cruel. The workers thought I was lying about how sick my dog was, they asked for my paper work proving that what I was saying was true. I was told that my dog had a ' slight cough' because of the cedar they use. I went in there asking about the cedar and how could they have said it was just the cedar when my dog is at the vet for a week. The woman then told me that "its pine." I asked if they had hypoallergenic pine and she insisted again that "it's just pine." Even though that wasn't my question at all. There can be simple fixes to these problems at this pet store, but instead of taking the right actions to fix these problems they just sit there and talk in a group. I walk around to the cages and see poop just laying there by the dogs. It no wonder why I hear so many dog get worms, including my dog. They are puppies and when they are hungry they will eat anything sitting in front of them. SHUT THE PLACE THE HELL DOWN. The BBB will be on this case.
